Our U11 boys bowed out of the David Doran cup with a 2 nil loss at home to Stoneyford in the quarter final. Thomastown got off to the worst possible start when they conceded a penalty after 15 seconds which Stoney converted. With Thomastown playing into a stiff breeze, it was an even first half until Stoney got their second with a shot from the edge of the box. Into the second half & with the aid of the wind Thomastown completely dominated territory & possession but could not find the back of the net. The closest the home team got was when James Tierney's shot was cleared off the line. It was a disappointing result for a great bunch of lads who gave everything in the game & the management couldn't ask any more of them. Final Score 0-2
