Our U12 A girls entertained Highview in the league on Saturday & came away with 3 points. Thomastown got off to the perfect started when newly converted centre forward Ruby Collins played a lovely through ball to Mia Brennan who applied the finish to put the home team 1 up after 3 minutes. Thomastown were doing all the pressing & doubled their lead through a Ruby Collins piledriver to give them a 2-nil lead at halftime.  Graig pressed hard in the second half but keeper Mollie Cottrell was well protected by defenders Lily Dimond, Olivia Barron & the exceptional Ellen Nugent. Thomastown got their third when Aoibhinn Kelly poked home from a goal mouth scramble which came from Ruby Collins corner. There was nothing messy about Aoibheann's second & Thomastown's fourth when she burst through Highview's defence & made no mistake when one on one with the keeper. Match finished in a well deserved 4 nil win for the home team. Final Score 4-0
