While the U13 Schoolboys had a win over Stoneyford Utd away, a great start for the boys in their first league game of the season. the Thomastown goals came from Liam McGorry and the enigmatic and mysterious Kieran O Shea (brother of Martha). Fina Score 2-1

Sunday:

The Junior A had a dramatic win in the LFA Junior Cup to advance to the next round against Shelbourne from Wexford. With a sending off, penalties and late goals the home team held on for a narrow victory, scorers for Thomastown were Adam Power (2) and Nathan Sherry (1). Final Score 3-2

THe U16 Schoolgirls started their season with a 4-0 loss at home to Lions AFC, Durrow, with many changes to the young squad the girls started slowly and went into the break 4 down. A much improved second half from by the home team who created the better chances and where unfortunate not to score a couple of goals but for some outstanding saves by the opposition goalkeeper. Final Score 0-4
