Our Junior A team's quest for glory and silverware ended in disappointment on Sunday afternoon in Derdimus Park with defeat in the McCalmont Cup Final against Evergreen. Things were never going to be easy against the league champions but despite that Thomastown got off to a bright start, however things changed for the worst and gave away 3 goals to go into the break under pressure.

The team continued the fight in the second half but still finished losing out 4-0 to the now new double champions.

The last hope of success for the season now rests on next Saturday's game in the Junior Mock Lawlor Premier Cup Final.
