Thomastown United soccer club will hold a fundraising golf classic at Gowran golf club on Friday the 27th and Saturday the 28th of May 2022. The proceeds of this event will go towards funding the building of a full-size All-weather AstroTurf pitch, the club has secured partial funding through the Sports Capital Grant. This facility will be a great asset to our members, we currently have 33 teams including boys, girls from 5-19 years plus adults while also catering for social soccer for 20-65 year olds. We also provide the facilities to schools, clubs & other sporting groups in our area.

We are a small club and great progress has been achieved in recent years with increases in the numbers playing football, both male & female, young and old. Facilities include 4 full sized pitches, 2 underage pitches and 2 small all-weather pitches on a 14-acre site. The club also provides a 1 Kilometre fully lit walkway for the community which has a membership of over 350.

The event will be a four-person team event and we expect to have a full card on both days with players from the club, visitors and members of the local community participating.

We would very much appreciate your support in our endeavours and are offering sponsors an opportunity to promote and advertise their business through this event. The options available are as follows:

• Main prize sponsor €250+ – Your business will be prominently displayed on the day and named on our social media channels when advertising the event along with promotion throughout the event. This includes displays around the clubhouse including locker room, elevator, food bar area and at the table of prizes as well as a scrolling PowerPoint presentation of our sponsors.
• Sponsor a team €200 – Your business will be promoted throughout the event. This includes displays around the clubhouse including locker room, elevator, food bar area and at the table of prizes as well as a scrolling PowerPoint presentation of our sponsors.
• Tee box sponsor €100 – Your business will be promoted on both days through prominently displayed signs at the tee tox.

The prize giving presentation will be held on Saturday evening in Tim’s bar where again the sponsors will be mentioned and thanked.
