Thomastown U10 boys travelled to Stoneyford on Saturday in their latest shield match. With Thomastown well on top they took the lead after Kobi Nolan beat two defenders to finish through the keepers legs. The away team continued to dominate & with Leon Phelan pulling the strings they doubled their lead through 7 year old Mìchaèl Walsh. Mìchaèl claimed his second soon after with a tidy finish to leave Thomastown 3 up at half time. Into the second half & Thomastown had plenty of opportunities to add to their lead but couldn’t convert any of the chances. Zack Barron, Jack Donald & Leon Phelan all went close. Thomastown also had keeper Borys Tylicki to thank who made a couple of good saves to keep the 3 goal lead intact. It was a great performance from the away side with Mìchaèl Walsh displaying his serious potential but player of the match goes to Sean Kennedy who was superb.
