O Saturday our U13 Schoolgirls travelled to Graigue to play Highview Athletic in cold freezing conditions. Having lost their last two games to last minute goals the girls were determined not to let it happen again, right from the start Thomastown had the home team under pressure and went into the break two goals up from Orla Sutton and Sophie McCabe.

There was no let up from the girls in the second half in the second half and two quick goals from Orla Sutton again and Emma Dempsey put the game to bed. Lily Cullen added a fifth and with 5 minutes to go Emma Walshe scored her first goal of the season to give them a comfortable and deserved win. A strong defensive display and a clean sheet from Katie Davies added to all round performance.
