Sunday proved to be a disappointing day for both our Junior teams. The B Team suffered a 2-1 defeat at home to Lions AFC in the afternoon. while in the morning the A team were up at league leaders Evergreen on the Kells Road, a green and white tsunami descended upon the away team from the start and Evergreen went into the break 6-0 up. An early Rory Monks goal brought a faint hope of revival but the home team took over again and scored 3 more goals to run out easy 9-1 winners. The only bright spot being they still remain second in the league and only 3 points behind Evergreen. Onwards and upwards to next Saturdays LFA Junior Cup against Aungier Celtic.
