Thomastown U15 Schoolgirls showed great character in battling back from a early goal to defeat on Saturday afternoon in United Park. The equalising goal came from a brilliant lob over the Evergreen goalkeeper from Niamh Ryan. Both teams produced several chance in an entertaining first half the then teams went in level at half-time, this was mainly due to the home goalkeeper, Roisin Dalton producing two excellent saves.

Niamh Ryan added a second goal for the home team midway through the second half to put them 2-1 and Kate Ryan made sure of the victory with a superb long range strike to give the girls a deserved 3-1 victory.
