Thomastown United boys u13 side played a tough competitive game away to River Rangers early on Saturday morning , after going 2 nil down to 2 scrappy goals the Thomastown boys side started to get stuck in with both Ross Wilson and Jack Howe coming close with good efforts, River rangers finished the 1st half the stronger with 2 more goals unfortunately, a lively 2nd half restart saw Thomastown Boys putting Rangers on the back foot with Liam Mcgorry with a good effort from long range, Zac Sheridan made a number of good saves and done well to come out and catch a few dangerous crosses, but with attacking in numbers River rangers got another 2 goals in quick succession, the last 15mins saw the best of Thomatown boys with constant pressure final paying off with Jack Howe breaking through the centre rolling the ball wide to Ross Wilson who put in an exquisite cross to Conor Murphy at the back post who controlled the ball and buried his shot for a well deserved team goal, final few minutes had thomastown retain possession but no more goals and having the game finish at 6-1.
