Our u14 girls were at home to Ballyduff of Waterford today in the national cup,i don't know what It is but when we play in the national cup it seems to rain ☔ but rain doesn't matter to these girls,we are known to start games really quick and that is exactly what we did today, with the game on less than a minute Orla put us one up, we didn't let Ballyduff settle we were first to every ball,we got our second from Emma Dempsey who's shot from outside the box went into the bottom corner, Orla put us 3 up just before half-time with a great top corner finish from the edge of the box,we started the second half like the first with great work by Orla, who cut the ball back to Mia Brennan to score her first goal " Mia obviously got her finishing skills from her mother's side" another girl who was gifted with her mother's skills is Hannah O'Reilly who scored our 5th with a great volley,it wasn't all plain sailing in the second half, Ballyduff created a couple of chances but with our sweeper keeper Katie Davies was quick off her line everytime,it was a great performance from everyone one the girls today,
Final score Thomastown 5 Ballyduff 0.
