Tonight our u14 girls team-2 took on Spa Utd -B in our last home game of the league,we knew going into this game a point would be good enough for us to win the league, these girls were never going to play for a point,we have been brilliant all season putting in some really good performances but my god they saved the BEST for tonight , from the moment we sat down in the dressing room at 6.10 this evening I knew by them they were really up for this game, we started on the front foot putting Spa Utd under pressure from the first whistle, we got a early penalty which Megan put away, we kept the pressure on for the whole first half Orla got our 2nd then our 3rd and then our 4th and just before half time she our 5th she was on fire tonight this girl just never stops, she was unplayable tonight 😀 we started the second half like the first constantly putting Spa Utd under pressure and it paid off again when Lily put in a great ball from mid-field to Emma Dempsey who took the ball around the keeper for our 6th, then up steps Zoe Beck with one of her powerful runs from just inside Spa Utd half and slid the ball into the net, we got our 8th with Megan getting her 2nd of the night, I have been saying all season that these girls are brilliant but tonight they took their performance to another level and that level is out of this world 😀 these girls deserve to be called CHAMPIONS 🏆🏆🏆🏆 and that is exactly what they are tonight CHAMPIONS 🏆💙🤍. Final Score 8-0
