Our u14 girls team-2 were away to Deen Celtic this evening in a top of the table clash, with only 3 points between us this was going to be a really tough game,we started the game really well with Orla busting down the left wing and cutting the ball back and as the ball bounced and the female Messi from Mullinavat Emma Dempsey struck a volley from outside of the box which went straight into the top corner, that goal seemed to spark Deen Celtic into life which they went on to score a great goal from outside the box themselves, Deen Celtic were the better team in the first half, we had a few words at half time which seemed to work because our girls came out and scored from our first attack of the second half, Orla and again with one of her memorizing runs and squared ball to Megan Walsh and with the magic right foot this girl has was never going to miss 2-1 to us, Deen Celtic through everything at us which were expecting but nothing was getting passed our back line in the second especially with Hannah O'Reilly in the middle of it, she was unbelievable in the second half clearing everything that came her way,it was really a game of 2 half's tonight, but we really seeing in the half tonight what our girls are really about, everyone of them from the 11 that started to the girls that came on the were amazing tonight 😀 still unbeaten with 3 games to that says it all,we as Coaches couldn't be happier. Final Score 2-1
