The Junior A team continued their good run in cup competitions with victory over Newpark in the Junior KCLR McCalmont Cup. Goals from Kasper Konopka and Nathan Sherry gave the home team a two goal lead at half time. Newpark upped their game at the start of the second half with two quick goals to level the things.

The game looked like it was going to finish level and extra time on the cards when Mark Delahunty stepped up to score in the 91st minute for Thomastown. Jimmy Maher added a fourth goal deep in injury to kill off the game with his first goal for the Junior team. Final Score 4-2
