Our u14 girls team-2 took on Southend this afternoon in United Park, Southend are only starting out this season and are struggling each game but still turn up for each fixture and give everything they have, our girls were to strong for them today,we were 8 goals up at half time, Aoife scored the opener with a great shot from outside the box, Megan got great hat trick, Zoe, Orla, Emma and Sophie also getting on the score sheet in the first half,we made 5 changes at half time, Southend played a lot better in the second half kept us from scoring early goals until Hannah Kean popped up with 2 goals her first and second for this team which we were delighted for as this is Hannah first ever season playing football, the game finished 10 nil to us,we hope Southend stick at it for next season as they will only get better.
