This evening our u14 girls team-1 took on Evergreen in the Kells Road, this Evergreen are strongest team in the league so we knew we were in for a tough evening but that didn't faze our girls, we knew Evergreen were going to have a lot of the ball and that our defending would have to be perfect and that is exactly how the first half went, everyone of our girls played exactly how we asked them to play in the first and comfortably held Evergreen to a scoreless score line in the first half, the second started much the same until Evergreen scored with a lucky shot and once they score one another one always seems to follow and with our girls putting in such a great defensive display for the first 45 minutes of the game,when the second went in our heads dropped and we got really tired,it finished 4-0 in the end which was very harsh on our girls who played so well for 45 minutes,we couldn't be any more proud of these girls, they tried so hard this evening but it just wasn't our evening in the end.
