Today our u14 girls team-2 took on a really well organized and well coached Deen Celtic team in United Park,both teams were unbeaten going into this game,we started the game really well,it was end to end with out any really clear chances, have way through the first half, Emma Dempsey and Orla played great football in the middle and with a great pass out to Megan who took a great first touch that put her into the box and buried the ball in far corner,we were one up at half time,we started the second half like the first,we played some lovely football at times especially down our right wing, twenty minutes into the second half Megan broke down the wing and put in a great ball across the goal only for Deen Celtic to clear but waiting on the edge of the box was Sophie who took a shot and hit the top corner, the game finished 2-0 to us,every girl got a few minutes today which was great, the 14 girls that were there today played a very important roll in winning this game as the ref walked off the pitch he gave a great compliment to both teams saying that was one of the games he was ever involved in.
