The U12 B girls travelled to Graig on Friday evening for a league match. After an uneventful first ten minutes Thomastown took the lead through Lara Fargie & doubled their lead through Lily Caulfield. Both Lily & Lara scored again to leave it 4 nil at half time. Highview were more of a threat in the second half with keeper Maebh Hearne pulling off a string of fine saves. Highview managed to pull one back but Thomastown got their fifth when 8 year old Siofra Croke O’Neill went on a mazy run & scored. Thomastown hit the post several times but the game finished 5-1. Abbie Fennelly had a great game at the back & Siofra was a constant menace for Highview but player of the match goes to Maebh Hearne who was brilliant in the goal.
