U15's

Thomastown Athletic U15s had a great win away to Evergreen in the kells rd. Evergreen started the better and hit the bar from long range in the 6th minute. Slowly Thomastown grew into the game with Cormac Moore a constant menance in the evergreen defence. On 20 mins the brillant Ellen Molloy played a sublime pass to the feet of Cormac who rolled the defender and played in David Holden who slotted the ball in the right hand corner. Town took iver the rest of the half but could not add to the scoreline. At half time Town were 1 up

Into the 2nd half and Evergreen came fighting and could of equalise only from great defending and goalkeeping from Oisin O Reilly. Ellen Molloy was in fine form in the middle of the park and on 59th minute she scored a goal of pure quality. She got ball 40 yards out and danced around the evergreen defence to score in the corner. Town 2 up with 10 mins left, evergreen were not going to give up and scored 2 mins later

Town were in for a nervy few minutes but with 3 minutes to play David Holden secured the 3 ponits for Thomastown. There great performances all over the pitch most notably David Holden Cormac Moore and Ellen Molloy.
